SIPPEWISSETT CAPE COD GIN

Sippewissett Cape Cod Gin is a twist on a traditional London Dry-style gin — moderate juniper up front, but balanced by an infusion of Cape Cod-sourced lavender, cranberry, rosehip, and beach plum.  It is perfect with lemon in a refreshing summer cocktail, but where it truly shines is in a martini. Here the smoothness, bottling strength and complex character comes into its own.  Try it in a traditional gin & tonic, or with a splash of cranberry & lime.

CROOK JAWS CAPE COD AMBER RUM

071015CrookJawsMockfrt.png

Crook Jaw’s Cape Cod Amber Rum starts out like our Great White rum, fermented with Grade A molasses, brown sugar, and our proprietary rum yeast. From there it takes a much different path. A longer, slower distillation produces a subtler raw spirit. It is then set down to barrel age for one to two years.  While the barrel aging mellows the spirit, it is not however a restful process. The spirit is continually tasted and evaluated. When ready it is moved from used bourbon barrels to used rye whiskey barrels and then finished in new American oak barrels.

Each barrel imparts a unique flavor and its aging in each barrel changes with time, temperature, and humidity. Finally, we blend the various vintages to create an extremely smooth and flavorful amber rum. It is wonderful for sipping as well as in your favorite craft cocktail.

CAPE COD COFFEE VODKA

Great partnerships don’t just happen. They begin with two or more exceptional people, products, or ideas. They come together, sometimes on a fluke, sometimes with a feeling. In the case of Cape Cod Coffee Vodka, it was all the above.

Jan and Pam Aggerbeck, owners of Cape Cod Coffee, were the spark. They have world class fresh roasted coffee and wanted to expand its reach. They contacted us at Cape and Island Distillers and proposed a collaboration.

Joe Sullivan, Head distiller and Diane Farrell, Head of Marketing at Cape and Island Distillers met with the Aggerbecks and together they created the wildly popular Cape Cod Coffee Vodka.

Our super-premium Cape Cod Vodka and the Aggerbeck’s world class cold brewed coffee, the definition of a great partnership.

You will notice some sediment in the bottom of the bottle. Not a defect but a sign of a true fresh craft product.  Mass produced products filter their spirits for appearance sake but in the process, remove the bright flavors such as the cold brewed coffee found in our coffee vodka.
